Not far from Biscarrosse in the heart of the Pays de Born, Parentis en Born is situated around the second largest lake in Les Landes, which shares the same name as the town. Parentis en Bornes, the administrative centre of the district, offers a rich and varied natural setting. The lakes surrounding the town are great for water sports, as is the Atlantic Ocean, a little further on. Nature lovers can also enjoy the Landes forest and the Parc Régional des Landes de Gascogne (Landes de Gascogne regional park).
