During the summer months, Pleumeur-Bodou is a tourist town of 1000 inhabitants. Its rural and maritime landscapes span 2600 hectares (6424 acres) and are surrounded by 17km (10 miles) of coastline and rich conservation areas. Numerous paths allow visitors to explore the area, whether it be on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. And that is not all! Pleumeur-Boudou offers visitors 11 sandy beaches, 6 campsites, an 10 hole golf course, a residential leisure park, a watersports club and a horse riding centre! The Cosmopolis site, which comprises a planetarium, a Gallic village and a telecommunications museum, draws in some 200,000 visitors each year.
