Sainte-Marie-de-Ré

Sainte Marie de Ré offers all kinds of water sports. As well as being the largest agricultural town on the island, Sainte Marie is also reputed for its oyster farms and cockle picking. The town can be recognised from a distance thanks to its superb gothic bell tower.
