Marseille

Marseille overlooks the Mediterranean sea. According to legend, it was founded when a Ligurian princess met a Greek seafarer. Marseille is the France's main port and for centuries sea trade has been an integral part of Marseille's economy. With its 57km (35.5 miles) of coastline and its superb sunny climate, Marseilles is an ideal destination for sports enthusiasts and bathers alike.
